It was in my blood to smack people around.
Some girls wore pink dresses and makeup, I wore sneakers and bruises.

I punched him in the mouth, and he saw me through rose colored glasses from that day on.
I had everything I ever wanted.
The boy next door, inspiring career… until I didn’t.
He hates me. I deserve that.

Cinderella had it easy. I’m lying to millions of people, and it’s all Silas’ fault.
Yes, that Silas. Billionaire. Prince. Scandals galore. Downright royal b*stard.
Everything that screams run. If only it weren’t for his rock hard edges and wild tattoos, tempting anything female on all seven continents.
But I don’t care about his looks. Really.
Our deal is simple. He needs a pretty little lie, a wife to cover up his dirty deeds. I need a fortune to buy the treatment that just might save my father’s life.
Match made in hell? Totally, and I’m going to make it work.
No, I’m not stupid. I’m not getting played by this billionaire prince. Forget his banter, his charms, the rumors I’ve heard about his ridiculously over-sized…ego.
What’s that phrase he teases me with – Prince with benefits? Not in a billion years.
Yes, I’ll lie for him. But I swear, my panties are absolutely, positively not melting every time I imagine his kiss…
Silas
It’s almost perfect. An engagement with an American girl, desperate as she is beautiful. Anything goes with Erin, except one rule.
Her body’s off limits. She’s joking, right?
Charming any girl I want into my bed doesn’t mean a thing when there’s only one on my mind.
I want Miss Make Believe. My fake, sassy, sexy fiancee. She, who says ‘no,’ and makes me so obsessed I’m about to trade in my designer suit for a straitjacket.
I convinced her to wear my ring, easy. I’ll get her clothes off next. Show her what the world’s most infamous player does when he’s on fire. Then I’ll move on.
No more playing castle. I’ll have my Princess with benefits on her knees, treating me like royalty…

A bewitching tale of first loves and second chances, laced with just enough mystery to keep our hearts racing, this was a book I could not put down for a second. This story literally took my breath away with its vigorous pace and clever plot twist, and when all the puzzle pieces finally came together, I found myself once again in awe of Ms Torre’s ability to create such interesting stories that never fail to warm my heart.
An alluring tale of revenge and deceit, set against a century-old legacy of family secrets and lies, this was such a magnificent addition to this author already remarkable repertoire, an absolute must-read for anyone seeking a true page-turner. My mind was blown away right from the start, and then the twists and turns just kept coming and coming.
One of the most emotional reading experiences of my life. A heartfelt and truly gripping tale of second chances, of forgiveness, of two people finding their way back to one another and learning how to trust each other again—my heart was in my throat from beginning to end and I adored every gut-wrenching moment of it. Poignant, romantic, impossible to put down, this was a rare treat for my greedy heart, full of great characters and a story that was gripping enough to keep me awake and reading until dawn.
Poignant, romantic, heartfelt, and beautifully written, as always, this book was everything I seek in a great second chance romance. I was addicted to every single sensation, mesmerised by these fascinating characters, the intense emotions that tied them to one another as they kept dancing that devastating line between love and hate.
With confident, intelligent, highly refined prose that never stops morphing as the story changes, adjusting its tempo and style to the storyline itself, Taylor Jenkins Reid leaves us breathless with the tale of a woman whose life forces her to learn the meaning of loving truly, no matter how many times it comes her way. I cannot stop thinking about this story, these characters, the situations they found themselves in, and I am recommending this book to every fellow reader. With all my heart. Unreservedly.
When it comes to romantic comedies, I am hard to please, but this book was my complete and utter undoing beginning to end. I giggled, I swooned, I even fist-pumped the air a few times, because I never delight in such a story this much, yet I found myself relishing every single thing about this book. Engaging, witty, sexy as all hell, I ADORED this book!!
