In Charlemont, Kentucky, the Bradford family is the crème de la crème of high society—just like their exclusive brand of bourbon. And their complicated lives and vast estate are run by a discrete staff who inevitably become embroiled in their affairs. This is especially true now, when the apparent suicide of the family patriarch is starting to look more and more like murder…
No one is above suspicion—especially the eldest Bradford son, Edward. The bad blood between him and his father is known far and wide, and he is aware that he could be named a suspect. As the investigation into the death intensifies, he keeps himself busy at the bottom of a bottle—as well as with his former horse trainer’s daughter. Meanwhile, the family’s financial future lies in the perfectly manicured hands of a business rival, a woman who wants Edward all to herself.
Everything has consequences; everybody has secrets. And few can be trusted. Then, at the very brink of the family’s demise, someone thought lost to them forever returns to the fold. Maxwell Bradford has come home. But is he a savior…or the worst of all the sinners?

Keane Morgan wouldn’t return any of my calls or texts, and I was pissed as hell about it. I didn’t want to drive from Seattle to L.A. with the guy any more than he wanted to drive with me, but I had no frickin’ choice in the matter–at least, not if I wanted to use his brother Dax’s coveted parking spot at UCLA.
Okay, so it turned out Keane was objectively gorgeous, and, fine, pretty funny, too. But did he have to be so damned in love with himself? I mean, jeez, the cocky way he flashed those dimples was just so orchestrated. And, honestly, what kind of guy uses the phrase “baby doll” with a straight face? Oh, that’s right: the kind of guy who’s a male stripper.
Yup, the cocky jerk turned out to be Seattle’s answer to Magic Mike, a stripper known as “Ball Peen Hammer”–which meant Keane Morgan was emphatically not the kind of guy I’d ever fall for.
Not. At. All.
No freakin’ way.
Well, until Keane convinced me to fall for him, that is.
Which I did.
This is a standalone romantic comedy novel.

But Lysette Rousseau is one female he can’t figure out. Beautiful, sensual, seductive, she should be the perfect match for Simon, yet something about her ties him in knots. Bold and manipulative one time, sweetly innocent the next, she is an enigma bound to bring trouble . . . impossible to resist.
This is a standalone novel in the Georgian historical series, a new edition of a previously released novel.
Love is just a word until someone enters your life and gives it meaning.
But those two letters changed everything.
It was impossible to predict the impact I would have on the life of the only woman I’d ever truly loved. No way to know that I would result in her ruin.
I’d suffer for eternity with the knowledge that it was me who brought devastation to her doorstep.
Though I deserved the anguish I felt, to see her suffer was unacceptable.
I would fix this.
Somehow I would prove to her that I wasn’t the monster she thought I was.
Even if it meant becoming a monster in order to make that happen.
This is the second and final book in the Duplicity Duet.
It only takes a spark…

As we return to Charlemont, Kentucky, and the endless new challenges now facing the four Bradford siblings in the aftermath of their father’s sudden passing and the many questions surrounding not only his final hours, but also the financial chaos he left behind, we are once more reminded of the utterly addictive quality of J.R. Ward’s writing and her extraordinary ability to pull us into any one of her stories with the sheer detail of her world-building talent. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough!
A spicy, highly amusing game of cat and mouse between a former Marine, now self-employed commando and cyber-security expert, and a quirky, Hello-Kitty-obsessed computer genius who outsmarts him every chance she gets, this was one of the sexiest books I’ve read this year, and I cannot express in enough words how much I enjoyed reading this book without resorting to all-caps or loads of exclamation points.
This story immediately piqued my interest with its intriguing premise of a fictional future king of England leading a double life, but it was the sheer brilliance of Lilah Pace’s style of storytelling, her unwavering focus on her characters, and the powerful emotions she keeps building on until the end, that held me captive until the very last page. This was a truly stunning love story—told over two equally riveting books—that I am recommending with all my heart.
The story of two people, each other’s first and only loves and one another’s greatest regrets, who cross paths again 15 years later, but only one of them recognises the other—this is an unexpectedly poignant second chance romance, consistently woven with emotion and longing, and as the sexual tension between the characters keeps escalating, the surprises only keep coming and coming. Because revenge is a dish best served…wickedly hot!
This story was all I hoped it would be—sexy, uplifting, and downright hilarious. But surprisingly, it wasn’t the hot, broody, tattooed hero that stole the show for me; it was the confident, witty, plus-sized heroine whose every word, every action made me want to high five my Kindle. A most delightful romantic comedy that I loved from the very start.
A bewitching tale of first loves and second chances, laced with just enough mystery to keep our hearts racing, this was a book I could not put down for a second. This story literally took my breath away with its vigorous pace and clever plot twist, and when all the puzzle pieces finally came together, I found myself once again in awe of Ms Torre’s ability to create such interesting stories that never fail to warm my heart.
An alluring tale of revenge and deceit, set against a century-old legacy of family secrets and lies, this was such a magnificent addition to this author already remarkable repertoire, an absolute must-read for anyone seeking a true page-turner. My mind was blown away right from the start, and then the twists and turns just kept coming and coming.
