ENEMIES TO LOVERS + FORCED PROXIMITY
I love routine. Schedules. Stability.
And I’m about to travel across the country with an actual chicken and the one man who I would schedule a root canal to avoid.
How did this happen? Let me back up.
My mom had one final request of me before she died: to spread her ashes around the country while I completed her bucket list.
It won’t be easy, but I want to honor her wishes. However, I need some help (and I absolutely hate that).
I don’t have a license—or a car—and I need someone to drive who won’t mind my mom’s chicken, Hennifer Aniston, on board. My options have been narrowed to one person: Hutch Aldridge-Sanders.
I have no interest in hanging out with the spontaneous, easy-going bad-boy of New York. But he’s my only hope.
I’m dreading being in a car with Hutch’s free spirit for a couple of weeks. Throw in the chicken, and this is bound to be a disaster.
Except that I forgot that opposites don’t just attract—they make sparks fly.
This is a standalone novel in The Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers series.

FRIEND’S LITTLE SISTER + MENAGE
Gio is blessed with a big family and lots of friends. Unfortunately, there’s an unspoken code amongst his buddies…one where sisters are off-limits. They have always been stand-up guys, but Keeley is so tempting, so sexy, that they’re in danger of breaking all the rules.
Keeley’s not exactly batting a thousand when it comes to life. She just lost her job and her only true talent seems to be picking the worst guys on the planet from online dating sites. However, her uneventful life takes a turn for the steamy after Rafe hires her to work for him and he and Gio start crashing all her bad dates.
When one kiss lead to a second and then to something much, much more, the lovers are left to decide if they’re engaging in a fun fling or embarking on forever.

GRUMPY/SUNSHINE + FORCED PROXIMITY
How do you get over a woman you never should have been, ahem, under in the first place?
Just when FBI special agent Spencer Landry had decided to forget about investigative journalist Maxine-Max-Keller and their one hot night together, there’s a threat made against her and Spencer’s protective instincts get all riled up. Again.
So now they’re shacking up on the Louisiana bayou and pretending to be in love so he can keep Max safe until the guy is apprehended.
Considering their chemistry and that he can not stop thinking about the gorgeous-and-doesn’t-know-it, smart-mouthed, bold-and-yet-vulnerable redhead, this could be a fun few days, right?
Nope. She’s all wrong for him.
And she hasn’t forgotten he can be kind of a jerk.
Sure, the naked-times are great, but he told her exactly what he wants— a bubbly, sweet school teacher who bakes him brownies and loves to cuddle—and Max ain’t it.
Max not only doesn’t bake, no one has ever called her sweet. And cuddling? Shudder.
Plus his bossiness is super annoying for someone who’s been taking care of herself all her life. But now they’re stuck together and dammit, besides being hot and very good with his mouth, Spencer is pretty irresistible with baby goats, little kids, and attempts at baking. And don’t forget alpha-protective. All of which makes her stomach feel very swoop-y. No wonder her clothes keep falling off.
But this is a temporary situation and they’re only faking it. So falling for the guy is a terrible idea.
She really should have kept that in mind.

SECOND CHANCES
The summer before fourth grade, Colten Mosley moved into the house across the street from mine, and we became inseparable.
He played the piano and baseball.
I had a penchant for dead things while at the same time imagining what it would be like to kiss Colten.
We were filled with curiosity and overly active imaginations.
We were also forbidden to be more than friends.
But that didn’t stop us.
Weeks before graduation, he annihilated my heart, and it’s been seventeen years since the day I knew I’d hate him forever.
Now he’s back in my life—a single dad and a homicide detective looking over my shoulder while I perform autopsies as one of Chicago’s most gifted forensic pathologists. Then fate throws us a curveball.
Colten saves my life, but he can’t erase the images that now keep me awake at night. And I can’t explain them.
Am I still the girl he’s always loved? Or nothing more than pieces of that life?
This is the third book in the Life series, but the first book in the Colten & Josie duet.

SECOND CHANCES
Hollywood’s biggest star first belonged to me.
Breaking up with your high school sweetheart was one thing.
Breaking up with Hollywood’s favorite actor? That was a different situation.I’d been in love with Aiden Walters since I was a little girl. We’d grown up as neighbors in small town Wisconsin. I knew him inside and out, and he knew every single piece of me. I was there when his career took off, and I was almost certain I’d always be a part of his life.
It wasn’t until a scandal broke out that I was forced to end things with Aiden. He didn’t take it very well. The boy I once loved began to hate me. He went off to California to leave all of his past behind—including me.
Five years later, he was back in town for the next few months taking care of some family business. He was staying in the only hotel in our small town. The hotel I now oversaw. For the next few months, I’d be forced to cater to the man who’s heart I’d broken all those years ago. The man who resented me. The man who swore he’d never speak to me again.
Now that he was back in town, in constant connection with me, I had to keep reminding myself daily of why I ended things with him in the first place. Otherwise, I’d find myself falling in love with him all over again. Only this time, I was certain that if I’d fell, he wouldn’t be willing to catch me.

Amos Bell is a musical prodigy, possessing a once-in-a-generation talent for piano. With little to no formal training, he can play anything from Rachmaninoff to Ravel purely by ear, and play it flawlessly, with an emotive expression that defies belief. This talent takes him from his home in Chicago’s South Side to Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY, and introduces him to Lyric Walker, who immediately takes up residence in his heart and challenges his worldview.
Lyric Walker is a songwriter. It’s her one true passion. Too bad her restrictive but well-meaning parents don’t see songwriting as a legitimate career choice for a young woman of Lyric’s elite pedigree. To appease them and still pursue music, she attends Eastman School of Music for opera, for which she has extreme talent but little passion.
Amos and Lyric find their way into adulthood, and together they face the ultimate challenge when an unexpected loss forces Amos to rethink all he holds true. Fraught with emotion and underscored by the transformative power of music, Music & Lyric explores loss, the importance of music, the necessity and beauty of artistic expression, and how love can transcend and overcome all obstacles.

BROTHER’S EX-GIRLFRIEND + MAFIA ROMANCE
He promised to protect me. Now it’s him I need protection from.
Roselyn Vega
When Gabriel De Luca waltzed into the nightclub where I was bartending, looking like he’d just stepped out of the pages of GQ Magazine: Wall Street Edition, it felt like fate.
I hadn’t seen him in ten years, but it felt like no time had passed between us. He’d been my first boyfriend, and I trusted him, so when he asked me how I ended up bartending for one of the most feared crime bosses, I told him everything. After that night, he went MIA, and suddenly, I’m very concerned for both our safety.
When he finally shows up, a week later, he’s acting different, walking different, and even looks a little different, but I’m so relieved that he’s okay that I barely register those things.
A couple of nights later, when he breaks into my apartment in the middle of the night I realize that it wasn’t Gabriel who’d walked into the club the other night, but his brother. His infuriating, domineering, dangerous brother, who, unlike Gabriel, followed their father’s footsteps into the world of organized crime. He demands that I pack my bags and go with him. I refuse, fight and argue, but the thing about Dominic De Luca is that one way or another, he always gets his way.
Dominic De Luca
There’s a code between brothers. I should know. I have a lot of them.
Don’t lie.
Don’t steal from each other.
Don’t f each other’s women *without permission*.
This particular situation made that last one a little less black and white because my brother, my first best friend, the guy who shared a womb with me, failed to tell me that the bartender he’d been seeing was Roselyn Vega. Of course, he wouldn’t tell me. Now the voice message he left before he completely disappeared makes sense. “Take care of her. Don’t f her.”
Usually, that wouldn’t be a problem (read: the code), but it’s a little tricky this time. You see, Rosie was mine before he took her from me ten years ago, and many things have changed during that time. I’ve changed, my circumstances have changed, but my confounding, obnoxious crush on Rosie? Yeah, that’s still the same. He left her in my care and warned me not to do anything, but I’m not making any promises.
This is a standalone novel in the Sins & Deceit series.

SMALL TOWN
They’ve both got good reasons to fight falling in love, but they can’t resist the overpowering attraction pulling them together…
Maggie
Wicked Witch. Ballbuster. The Terminator. Those are just a few of the nicknames I’ve earned in my professional life. As the executive consultant King’s Creamery has brought in to save them from financial ruin, I have to decide which employees get the ax. I can’t afford to make friends or get chummy with my new neighbors.
Try telling that to the enormous, hunky fireman next door who’s annoyingly determined to make friends with me. It’s not enough that the guy saves kittens from trees, tosses tree trunks around while wearing a kilt, and has a body that makes Thor look puny. He also works out shirtless in full view of my kitchen window. I might be secretly obsessed.
When a newspaper exposé turns the whole town against me, my hot fireman neighbor steps up to act as my protector, and my secret obsession threatens to turn into a case of serious feelings. But I can’t allow that to happen when I’m only here temporarily. I’ve got to keep my walls up to protect the heart everyone thinks I don’t have.
Ryan
My new neighbor might act like she wants nothing to do with me, but I’ve seen her watching me from her window. I can tell she likes what she sees, and I love pushing her buttons—a little too much. I’ve got no restraint when it comes to this woman.
Now I’m screwed because I can’t get her out of my head. The more time I spend with Maggie, the more I suspect she might be the soul mate I’ve been waiting for all my life.
Of course I’d find her now when I can’t risk letting her get too close. If she does, she might discover the secret I’ve been keeping from everyone.
Soul mate or not, I’ve got to let her go. Even if it kills me.

In my ongoing mission to discover as many remarkable new voices in Romance as possible, I came across this glorious, sparkling gem of a book that you’ll want to push into the hands of everyone you know. Whether the idea of a celebrity falling for an everyday person is your tropetonite, or you’re just a sucker for the ‘famous life’, there is something about this story that is both wonderfully fanciful, and also completely relatable. What begins as a one-night stand between two old childhood friends—one of them a hugely successful actor, and the other an ambitious investigative journalist on the verge of a career-making scoop—quickly deepens and evolves into something more for them both. But fame and anonymity don’t go hand in hand, and soon, both their lives are thrown into precarious waters as scandal hits home. I rarely read a book cover to cover, twice in the same week, but this one I did.
I’m on a mission to discover as many new voices in Romance as possible this year, and my latest find was simply BREATHTAKING. It’s actually really hard to believe this is a debut novel. We meet Percy Fraser just as she receives a call that sends her racing back to a small town in Ontario’s cottage country—a place that holds both her fondest childhood memories and her greatest heartbreak, and to Sam Florek, her childhood best friend and the boy she never stopped loving. Half of the story unfolds through flashbacks into Percy and Sam’s teenage years, and the six summers spent falling in love with one another. And the other half is told in the present day, where we meet the characters almost two decades later, one consumed by grief and loss, and the other by guilt and heartache. Their past and present intertwine to tell a story that is both charged with the guileless naïveté of childhood, and the heart-on-your-sleeve intensity of second chances. Nostalgic, evocative, heart-wrenching at times, hopeful, uplifting, and romantic in every sense of the word, this is the kind of book that transports you in time and place, and reminds you of all-consuming young crushes and all those summers spent running wild without a care in the world. The audiobook version narrated by the amazing Aj Bridel is especially transporting. A true gem!
I can’t remember the last time a book shook me so deeply and so personally from the very first page, let alone for it to take days, even weeks, to fully process all the emotions coursing through me, yet this book did just that. Tackling one of the most challenging tropes in Romance—cheating—this is the kind of story that pushes the rosy-coloured glasses right off your nose and forces you to truly understand the characters’ perspectives, while silencing your own preconceived notions and judgements. It’s a story of forgiveness and redemption as much as it is a story of self-discovery and growth, and every bit of it is done just right. Without glorifying or trivialising cheating in any way, Alison Rhymes shows that she is not afraid to get her hands dirty when it comes to exploring sensitive or complex topics in relationships, doing so carefully and thoughtfully. She will twist you up and wring you out, make you question everything you hold to be true about life, love, and happily-ever-afters, which is made all the more impressive by the fact that this is a debut novel.
An astonishing tale of family ties, loss, and forbidden love comes alive through Jennifer Hartmann’s sublime writing and deeply human characters in a novel that is so beautifully written and thought out, you’ll want to reread it almost as soon as you reach the end. Hartmann compels with her every sentence, capturing the essence of growing up and the warmth of enduring love ever so perfectly, and even with a steady onslaught of tragedies that the characters must face over the years, she weaves a triumphant tapestry of their lives, thread by painstaking thread.
