Growing up, the three of us were friends.
He was the nerd.
I was the playboy.
She was the beauty.Deep down, I only ever wanted her. I kept it inside because Rory and I made a pact that our friend, Amber, was off-limits.
He lied.
I went off to college, and he got the girl.
Amber never knew how I felt.
They were together for years—before he broke her heart.Through it all and across the miles, she and I casually stayed in touch.
When my job sent me to Boston for a three-month contract position, Amber let me stay in her spare room.Still reeling from her breakup, she’d sworn off men.
One night, I opened her computer to find the shock of my life. She’d hesitantly contacted a male escort company. Afraid to date and get her heart broken again, she was looking for sex with no strings.
Every emotion imaginable ran through me: protectiveness, jealousy—curiosity.
Amber had chosen Gentleman Number Nine and sent him a message.
She opened up to him, confessing, among other things, her physical attraction to her friend—me. But she considered me off-limits—and she thought I was a manwhore. (Ironic, considering the circumstances.)Eventually, she set up a date to meet Gentleman Nine at a hotel.
When she showed up several nights later to meet him, she was stunned to see me standing there—with an offer I hoped she wouldn’t refuse. This is a standalone novel.

My mom always said it was just something about the way he moved.
The same swagger Archie Valentine wore in the ring when he took his opponents down followed him like a halo everywhere he went. But make no mistake about it—he was no angel. He was like a drug. My mother was his addict.
I never understood it…how love could make you blind and convince you to drink the poison. Not until I met Memphis Delaney.
At first, it was the familiar form. He’s a fighter, built like a god from the past, the kind of man the universe doesn’t make anymore. His eyes hide a story, and every time I’m in his presence I want to keep reading him until I get to the end. And then…there’s the way he moves. His boxing is violent but beautiful, and his body is a seductive weapon. When he’s in the ring, he wears the stare of a man committed to the battle until his very last breath.
He could end me; turn me into her. Too much of him will leave me as a shadow, and I’ve lost so much of myself already.
But I have discipline. It came the hard way. Lessons learned, scars left behind, and trust stripped away from life.
I will breathe his air, but I won’t fall for a man like him. The only boxer who’s ever going to break my heart is the one who gave me my name.
This is a standalone novel.

Forcing Claire to face her fears, Aiken almost forgets his reason for moving to Small Town, Pennsylvania. Falling for the sexy, smart, and strong professor next door was never in the plan.
But now it is… until their future intersects with their pasts.

He was an artist. She was his muse.
To everyone in town, Abel Adams was the devil’s spawn, a boy who never should have been born. A monster.
To twelve-year-old Evie Hart, he was just a boy with golden hair, soft t-shirts and a camera. A boy who loved taking her picture and sneaking her chocolates before dinner. A boy who made her feel special.
Despite her family’s warnings, she loved him in secret for six years. They met in empty classrooms and kissed in darkened church closets. Until they couldn’t.
Until the time came to choose between love and family, and Evie chose Abel.
Because their love was worth the risk. Their love was the stuff of legend.
But the thing about legends is that they are cautionary tales. They are made of choices and mistakes. And for Abel and Evie, the artist and the muse, those mistakes come in the form of lights, camera, sex.

This was EXACTLY the kind of book I was in the mood for this week. The story of a young woman who, on her wedding day, discovers her twin sister is pregnant by the man she is about to marry. Throw in a dash of twin switcheroo, a single dad in need of a nanny for his daughter, a generous amount of angst, and you’ve got a book you won’t be able to put down.
From the queen of the slow burn and delayed gratification, we got another beautiful love story that takes shape slowly, patiently, one irresistible page at a time. Watching two former enemies fall in love, and feeling their every emotion filled my heart to bursting. There simply hasn’t been a Mariana Zapata novel I did not love like crazy, and this one is no exception.
The beauty of Jewel E. Ann’s writing and the detail with which she renders her characters took my breath away time and time again, weaving a story that is sexy, funny, sad, and everything in between, and entirely impossible to put down. It’s a story of opposites attracting, of second chances at finding love and happiness, of forgiveness, of family bonds, of pet rats, of life giving us exactly what we need even when we don’t think we’re ready or deserving of it, and while it might have been my first time reading this author, I am now the proud owner of her entire back catalogue.
There’s something infinitely romantic about the notion of a great love surviving beyond death, of two soulmates finding a way back to one another even after one of them crosses over to the great beyond, and J.T. Geissinger’s latest offering is a true gift to romantics everywhere. Told with soulful prose and empathy, this is a tale of loss, grief, hope, destiny, and above all, love—undefeatable, everlasting love. It’s a powerful, poignant story that stays with you long after you’ve read it, and keeps popping into your mind when you least expect it.
It’s not every day that you find a book that affects you so deeply and so completely that you’re not really sure how to process anything else for a while, let alone move on from it, so when it happens, the only thing you can do is immediately flip back to the beginning and start again. A powerful story that both moved and enraptured me—beautifully written and infused with the perfect mix of emotion and steam—this book was absolutely everything I didn’t know I was looking for when I randomly picked it from an endless lineup of possibilities, quickly becoming a truly unforgettable reading experience.
The enemies-turned-lovers trope has always been a personal favourite of mine, the intoxicating combination of hostility and intense sexual tension between the characters being a heady cocktail I’ve never been able to resist, and Santino Hassell’s latest offering is a sexy supernova that leaves the reader bursting from all the feels. The tale of two rival football players suspended from the game they love and forced to ‘play nice’ while battling their feelings for one another, this book owned me cover to cover, and on more than one occasion, it left me utterly breathless.
After falling in love with The Highwayman, I simply could not wait to read Christopher Argent’s story, and unsurprisingly, I was enthralled from the very first page. The story of a ruthless assassin who falls for the woman he was paid to kill in cold blood, this is the kind of book that makes you want to shut out the world around you and escape into it with no interruptions.
