ROYAL ROMANCE + RIVALS TO LOVERS + FORCED PROXIMITY + BROTHER’S EX FIANCE + SECRET RELATIONSHIP
Gabriel
Winning people over has always been my greatest talent.
One smile, one joke, one perfectly timed wink, and I have them eating out of my hand. But I don’t think that’s going to work so well on Prince Alejandro of Solterra. The man my twin, King Nicholas Valemont, cast aside for his footman in his pursuit of true love.
Alejandro is infuriatingly handsome, impossibly stubborn, and determined to turn every conversation into a competition. Every move feels suspiciously like a trap designed to make me—the other Valemont brother—suffer.
So naturally, I decide to make a game of it.
No feelings.
No jealousy.
No falling in love.Simple.
At least…it was supposed to be.
Alejandro
I’ve already been the world’s biggest royal headline because of a Valemont once. I have no interest in becoming one again.
Then Gabriel arrives—charming, relentless, impossible to ignore—and somehow turns every argument into flirtation and every competition into something dangerously fun.
We agree on one rule above all else: no falling in love.
It should’ve been easy.
Instead, every sharp word, every stolen kiss, every moment no one else is watching makes it harder to remember where the game ends…and where real feelings begin.
Because the most dangerous thing about competing with Gabriel isn’t losing.
It’s realizing I’d happily let him win.

She’s the first woman to get under my skin…and the last one I should be touching.
I came to Starlight Cove looking for the father who abandoned my mom and me. Instead, I find four half-brothers who want me gone yesterday and the fiercely protective single mom who makes leaving feel impossible.
When a broken-down car strands me in Rowan’s attic and a storm lands me back in her bed, I’m suddenly sharing a roof with someone who looks like sin, tastes like temptation, and feels a hell of a lot like home.
Trouble is, her ex keeps circling like she still belongs to him. He’s wrong. And I’m one bad decision away from making sure he knows it.
Protecting Rowan is easy. Breaking through her defenses is not.
She’s spent years building walls around the life she’s fought hard to create, and falling for another ex-con isn’t part of her plan.

FORCED PROXIMITY + SECOND CHANCES + FORBIDDEN ROMANCE
I have always been a fraud.
As far back as I can remember, I have been pretending to think and feel what everyone around me insisted was right. Playing a part became so ingrained that, even now, years and evolutions later, I’m still not sure what’s at the center of me.
I was the eldest son in a strict Mormon family, born into a life that fit everyone but me. I tried. God, I tried. I gave it everything I had.
I spent years building a heaven for everyone but myself.
I preached salvation while quietly drowning.
In 1991, I was sent to Lyon, France by the church, determined to become the man I’d always pretended to be.
Then I met Elder Nathan Van Zandt.
His reputation preceded him. He was our district leader. The missionary everyone talked about. The football star who had put his future on hold to serve God. Brilliant. Devoted. Broad-shouldered and impossibly tall, with olive skin, fathomless dark eyes, and a smile that could make you believe in miracles.
He was the man on the tip of everyone’s tongue. They forgot to mention how beautiful he was.
Or how every room seemed to bend toward him the moment he walked inside.
Or how impossible he was to resist.
Sometimes your breaking point isn’t the moment you go under.
Sometimes it’s the moment you finally come up for air.
Temptation doesn’t always lead you astray from who you are.
Sometimes it leads you straight to it.
When We Fell Away is a poignant, forbidden M/M second-chance romance set in the early ‘90s, spanning years of reverent yearning, impossible devotion, aching restraint, and the devastating cost of choosing between faith and the only person who’s ever felt like home.
This is a standalone novel.

Whitney Aven has been surrounded by hockey players her entire life. Which is why she has a strict rule to never date one.
But Conrad isn’t like any other man she’s met. He’s unbelievably handsome, unexpectedly sweet and patient with her players, and one of the most talented skaters she’s ever met.

There’s a reason why Annabel Monaghan is considered to be in a class of her own when it comes to uplifting, emotionally resonant romances that leave readers beaming from ear to ear, because this gem of a book delivers pure joy from its very first page. Witty, delightful, and a refreshing take on the well-loved trope of fake dating in a small town setting, everything about this radiant novel is simply beautiful. I didn’t know I was looking for a cosy romance like this, yet there has never been a book I needed more in my life.
It doesn’t happen all that often that a book shakes me to my very core. But Wolfsong by TJ Klune has been a tectonic event in my reading life. I can tell you that it’s a male/male romance, I can tell you that there are werewolves in it, I can tell you it’s the very definition of a “found family” trope, but none of those descriptors do this book justice. TJ Klune’s minimalist prose and slow, poetic rhythm pull you in like a spell, seducing you into slow, wilful surrender, but his every word is purposeful and capable of delivering a lingering gut punch that will steal the air from your lungs. This is one of the most beautiful books I’ve ever read, and in many ways, one of the most painful, too. I read until 4am two nights in a row, crying into my pillow but unable to let these characters go. 6 STARS!
The premise of two rival meteorologists who get stuck in a snowstorm together, sharing one bed, might not be uncharted territory in the Romance genre, but B.K. Borison manages to turn a familiar trope into a fresh, richly layered, deeply relatable, warm hug of a story that left me giggling, swooning, and smiling ear to ear. Achingly tender and romantic, Jackson and Delilah dazzle off the pages.
In a rapidly changing world, there is one constant that continues to provide this reader with refuge and much needed escapism, and that constant is Kristen Ashley’s inimitable brand of storytelling. As one of the most versatile Romance writers of today, Ashley’s extensive catalogue stretches across several subgenres and tropes, but all her stories have one thing in common—emotional depth and rich character development—and her latest novel is a perfect testament to that. The quiet, restrained beauty of the English countryside offers an idyllic setting to a poignant tale of love, friendship, and mystery, that is only intensified by a touch of the supernatural. When it comes to delivering stories that take over your entire life while reading them, then settling deep into the fabric of your soul, Kristen Ashley reigns supreme.
