Review Requests
Due to an overwhelming number of reviewing and blogging commitments, not to mention a reading backlog a mile long, I am unable to accept many review requests. You are more than welcome to contact me via the form below, but if I accept to review your book, I will not be able to offer you a review posting date. I read every single email that is sent to me, even though I cannot reply to all of them. If I feel your book is something that I would love reading but cannot do so in the immediate future, I might still put it on my TBR list and even purchase it, but not accept an advance copy from you. I do urge you, however, to include a small excerpt of the book you are submitting as an author’s writing style is as important to me as a book’s storyline, if not even more so. This Blog is run by one person and one person alone, and I would never get any reading done if I replied to every single email I received. However, my lack of response is in no way a reflection of the quality of your work, or even of the level of interest on my part, but rather an indication of how busy I am at that point with other commitments, or of my current reading mood. I am truly humbled and thankful for every single review request I receive.
If you are an author and you would like me to read your book and review it, feel free to contact me by filling the form below. I am happy to review on demand, BUT please please please read some of my reviews before you ask me to read your book. I am very outspoken, I don’t beat around the bush and I will write honestly about what I enjoyed as well as what I did not enjoy in your book. My reviews are always honest and fair, but I choose not to review books I did not enjoy as a whole. I see my role as a book reviewer and blogger a positive one, rather than a negative one, and I wish to only talk about the books I liked/loved.
I receive numerous requests each week for book reviews, but unfortunately can only accept a few of them. Please note, I will only respond to those requests that I accept and acceptance of a book does not guarantee a review.
All reviews will be posted on this Blog, on Goodreads, and on this Blog’s social media. If you would like my review posted somewhere else, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate your request.
What Genres I Read
The genres I read are Contemporary Romance, Erotic Romance, Romantic Suspense, Romantic Comedy, New Adult, and on occasion, Young Adult. I only read books that are first and foremost love stories with a happy ending. If your book does not fall into one of these categories, it is unlikely that I will accept to review it, but I might consider it in some rare instances. I have no interest whatsoever in non-fiction, political, self-help, philosophical, theological or biographical titles. None whatsoever. I also do not judge a book on the themes it contains, as risqué as they might be, and as long as the storyline intrigues me, I am able to read it trigger-free. I will not, however, read books containing graphic descriptions of violence against animals or children. That is my hard limit.
