It’s one of the most unusual love stories I’ve ever come across, the kind of written-in-the-stars romance that transcends time, race, and gives new meaning to the power of true love. I’m just so besotted by this book, I’m going to need a moment to process it fully.

Set against the breathtaking and very romantic backdrop of the Appalachian mountain ranges in Upstate New York, Alice Clayton delivers a passionate yet unexpectedly poignant tale of a young woman learning to open her heart for the first time. We are given two characters whose personal complexities are smoothly interwoven into a story that titillates, delights, and even makes us laugh out loud on occasion, but when they share a scene, the sexual tension between them is so off the charts, I simply couldn’t get enough of it.
The perfect ending to a simply flawless series. As the final member of Sunder finds his happy ending, we say farewell to a series that book after book has dazzled us with its remarkable prose and some of the most intense intense love stories I have ever read.

I am so overwhelmed by this book, I could weep! After falling in love with so many of Amy Harmon’s dazzling tales, I am no longer surprised by how easily she always pulls me in with her storytelling, but I remain forever in awe of the way she composes her words so exquisitely, each time delivering a fresh, gripping, electrifying work of art that never fails to take my breath away. This is slowly but surely becoming my favourite series from this author. SIX STARS!
A compelling, uplifting, truly beautiful tale of two people finding exactly what they always needed when they least expected it, this book sank its hooks into my heart from the start, and I absolutely adored every minute of the emotional journey it took me on. Kristen Ashley is a master at weaving just the kind of perfect chemistry between her characters that makes the reader party to that magic, feeling, marvelling, aching, breathing their every emotion, and her stories could be said to get even better as audio books.
I knew I LOVED this book from its very first sentence. Perhaps my favourite instalment in a series I’ve adored for so long now, this tender, funny, passionate, but scrumptiously slow burning romance between two best friends delivers, as always, Callihan’s trademark brand of wit and heat, outshone only by the consistent quality of her prose. An absolute must-read cover to cover.
Built on the premise of a mysterious stranger sweeping in and saving a ‘damsel in distress’ from her own life with an unexpected marriage proposal, this is where all the similarities to a storybook fairytale end, and where the story takes off in one of the most mouth-watering page-turners this author has ever written, a book I simply could not read fast enough
This story had all the winning components that I seek in a stress-free read—comedy, crackling sexual chemistry, sparkling dialogues—but I never expected to fall for the characters SO hard, SO soon. I couldn’t get enough of their quirks and whims, devouring page after page as I either giggled myself silly at their antics, or spontaneously combusted from their scrumptious romps between the sheets, because this book is the FULL PACKAGE in every possible way. And I already want to read it again.
There has not been ONE thing about this book that I did not ADORE—from the vibrant characters and vivid dialogues between them, to the perfectly paced love story that never eclipses the great message behind the author’s every word—and it only took me a few chapters to KNOW that I had found a true gem. Stories like these are the reason I read—they are exactly what I always hope to find when I turn that first page—and I have loved this book from its first words to the very last. SIX STARS!
