When we were eleven, Oliver Ford Pemberton dared me to jump off a barn roof. He said you couldn’t break a leg from a 12-foot-jump.
(You can also break a collarbone, which served him right as far as I was concerned.)
I wish I could say it was the last dare I ever took from him, the last bet I ever made with him, the last time I ever trusted Oliver Ford Pemberton.
But it wasn’t.
Because he had the nerve to grow up gorgeous, charming, and sexy. And as we got older, the dares only got dirtier—and the betting stakes higher—until finally, he left me in pieces. I swore I’d never talk to him again.
But twenty years after I took that flying leap, he’s back in my life, daring me to risk everything for him: my job, my self-worth, and my heart.
How many chances does true love deserve?
This is the second book in the Cloverleigh Farms series of standalone novels with interconnected characters.
The hardest battle is the fight to be yourself….
Jesse Solomona has always tried to be the perfect straight guy—a cocky sports fan capable of drinking more than he did in his fraternity days and an expert at one-night-stands. That he hooks up with just as many men as he does women is a secret Jesse’s been hiding for years, fearful of losing his family and tight group of friends. He’s a Kensington boy—a group of guys that grew up in the same neighborhood and somehow all ended up back in their hometown. They, and his family, are the only things that still matter in his otherwise soul-sucking life.
Chuck Dunn, a tattooed and pierced sports photographer, has refused to step back into the closet since he was disowned by his family, but he keeps choosing men who can’t fully be with him. Finally free from a long-term relationship he should’ve ended years ago, he quits his high-profile gig in favor of getting back to the art of sports photography—documenting a local boxing club that works with at-risk teenagers. He may not have the same swagger anymore, but he’s working to be happy with who he is.
When Chuck joins one of the Kensington boys’ community center sports leagues, Jesse’s self-imposed rules are systematically demolished. But there’s one barrier Jesse can’t find the strength to break through—coming out to the other Kensington boys. Chuck knows hooking up with Jesse is a bad idea. Falling for him even worse. But he can’t stay away.
Chuck is damaged by his past. Jesse is frightened about his future. But, together, they may just be able to come out of the shade.

Every little girl dreams of the fairytale. The one where the white knight rushes in to save her from the clutches of evil. They fall in love, have babies, and live happily ever after.
By that definition, my life should have been a fairytale too.
When I was eight years old, Caven Hunt saved me from the worst kind of evil to walk the Earth. It didn’t matter that I was a kid. I fell in love with him all the same.
But that was where my fairytale ended.
Years later, a one-night stand during the darkest time imaginable gave us a little girl. It was nothing compared to the pitch black that consumed me when I was forced to leave her with Caven for good.
At the end of every fairytale, the happily-ever-after is the one thing that remains consistent. It wasn’t going to be mine, but there hadn’t been a night that passed where I hadn’t prayed that it would be hers.
I owed Caven my life.
However, I owed that innocent child more.
And that included ripping the heart from my chest and facing her father again.

The underworld of Chicago is far from forgiving. It’s a world where knowledge means power, power money, and money everything.

And then I saw her.
I shouldn’t want her, desire her, or need her, yet with each sighting I know she is exactly what I have to have. Laurel has the ability to do what I thought was impossible. She sees what others don’t.
My gut tells me that it’s a deadly mistake to change my plans and open my world to her. My mind says she’ll be repulsed by my twisted existence.
None of that matters, because my body won’t take no for an answer.
I’ve made dangerous mistakes before.
This time, will the price be too high?

The story of two childhood frenemies who are given a second chance at exploring the undeniable chemistry between them, while putting their complicated past between them, I devoured this book in a single day. I loved how flawed both characters were, how forgiving they were of each other’s faults, and how much they loved one another even before they knew it. I missed them the moment I finished this book.
From the moment I heard of a book about a rebellious First Son of the United States falling for the Prince of England, I became wildly obsessed with getting my hands on it, but never in my wildest dreams did I expect it to become one of my most beloved books of the year. In what is truly an outstanding debut novel, Casey McQuiston’s distinct and wonderfully whimsical writing style makes us lose ourselves in a tender romance that moves, inspires, and makes us believe. McQuiston paints a beautiful portrait of humanity with a story that celebrates love, courage, and individuality in all its glorious colours, quickly becoming one of the most romantic tales I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading.
I pretty much inhaled this delightful enemies-to-lovers tale in a single sitting. It’s the story of two sworn enemies who end up on an all-expenses-paid honeymoon trip to Maui instead of their married siblings, but somewhere between zip-lining, snorkeling, couple’s massages, and one too many mai tais—all the while pretending to be married—they begin to not only like each other, but they also realize that perhaps they’ve never known one another at all. Can’t recommend it highly enough!
I’ve been breathlessly waiting for this book from the moment I got whiff of the news that two of my favourite authors were collaborating again on a male/male romance, but it only took a few pages of this story for me to become utterly obsessed with it. Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy’s latest offering is a wonderfully delicious romp that grabs you from the start and leaves you torn between wanting to devour the whole book in a single sitting and not wanting it to end, ever. A sizzling tale of sexual adventure and discovery, with the added bonus of an enemies-turned-lovers subplot, this is the kind of intoxicating reading experience that I’d recommend savouring for as long as you can. Preferably uninterrupted.
Brimming with Kristen Ashley’s penchant for evoking ALL the feels, this is a tale of second chances—the kind that comes when life has beat you down so much that you’re hesitant to give love another shot—and of two people working hard on themselves so that their pasts don’t define their future together. As always, Kristen Ashley’s strong character portraits and lush narrative deliver an irresistible cocktail of romance, passion, and close-knit family ties, a story that takes the reader on a rollercoaster ride of emotions—reaching in and touching all the heart’s most breakable places—before soaring to its romantic, tear-jerking conclusion.
A steaming cup of scrumptiousness is the perfect way to describe this tasty, three-part morsel from one of my favourite writing duos, and I found myself devouring all three like a woman possessed. From the electric charge of its love scenes, to its most tender moments, this is one of those love stories that consumes you to the point of obsession, taking over your whole life while you’re lost in it, and then leaving you in a happy haze that lingers long past the final page. Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine know how to turn up the heat, delivering scene after scene of intense sexual chemistry between the characters, all the while taking the reader on an utterly romantic, emotional journey as the protagonists explore their feelings for one another. Tantalising and delicious, these books are sure to satiate anyone’s appetite for a well-written, toe-curling erotic romance.
